Sam Allington award winning film

'Radcliffe Riverside pupils became movie moguls when they turned the moving words of a fellow student into a short film masterpiece' ... well that's what the papers say ...

Our students spent a couple of months producing an 11 minute film about one of our pupils - Sam Allington.

Sam, who has Cerebral Palsy wrote a selection of song lyrics and thoughts concerning his life in a wheelchair and it was these thoughts that became the focus of the film.

The film premiered at the lower school prize night and as the article also says - 'Audience moved to tears.' - A truly remarkable achievement - Congratulations must go to all of the students involved!

Chaplefield Primary visit

A group of Year 5 Chaplefield Primary students recently visited Radcliffe Riverside's brand new Music Technology & New Media Suite. They were given a lesson in contemporary composing and recording techniques.

Mr Rogers was aided in his teaching by four Radcliffe Riverside Year 9 students, Ben Hardman, Ben Thompson, Alicia Shanks & Oliver McDaid. Chapelfield pupils were amazing, they instantly picked up on how to use the equipment and in turn they all produced their very own "Crazy Greg" compositions.

These will soon be available for the students to download from this site. Further ongoing projects are planned with these studio whizzes!!!
