With the existing "Coney" and "Radcliffe High" sites being sold, presumably for houses to be built there, would that not increase the catchment area and fill up the remaining places?

One presumes only for the first year or so anyway. People are put off by the ongoing saga of the school... once it's built it's sure to be full. Radcliffe is the biggest catchment area in Bury with nearly 2500 children.

Couldn't agree more - the biggest issue is / was the uncertainty and now we have a concrete completion date on the cards - that hurdle is out of the way.

A purpose built, high tech modern complex like this will finally provide Radcliffe and it's community with the top class facility it deserves.
